The clean smooth lines of the Sigma aerodynamic louvre system provide a striking architectural feature to complement a wide variety of building applications ranging from traditional to modern and from offices to industrial developments.

The aluminium louvres have smooth, rounded blade edges which not only enhance their aesthetic appeal, but also result in improved aerodynamic performance. Sigma louvres are extremely versatile and can be installed into any configuration of wall facade. The flexible clip device means that the pitch arrangement can be varied to suit individual requirements. They can be supplied as a modular Box Type louvre or as a continuous system for large face area requirements.

The strong visual appeal of the Sigma louvre system combined with its greater efficiency, choice of pitch size and colours, offers the specifier considerable flexibility in design.

The unique aerofoil blade offers improved free area factors. Where weather tightness is important, the Sigma System can incorporate double pass blades while still retaining its smooth, continuous appearance.

Specification

Material: Sigma louvres are manufactured from mill finish aluminium to international standards.

Finishes: Can be provided in mill finish, anodised, polyester powder-coated or PVF2.

Blade Options: Can be provided as single pass, double pass or double pass operable.

Pitch Options: The range of pitches and geometric free areas available are: 50 mm - up to 48%; 80mm - up to 65%; 100mm - up to 52%

Birdguards/Insect Screens: A range of designed birdguards and insect screens are available as optional extras.

Performance

Blade design has been tested for structural and aerodynamic performance to produce optimum spanning and pressure loss performance. The louvres have been independently tested to current international standards.

Accessories

Accessories such as insulation, blanking panels, acoustic treatment can be provided to suit specific project requirements.

Easy Assembly

The Robertson Sigma Louvre system is available in continuous or knocked down form with pre-assembled mullions and clips for continuous louvres. Blades snap easily into the clips with no special tools required, yet provide security once in place.
