RENSON has developed the Eclips, an external sun shading system with fixed blades, excluding the solar heat build-up. The blades intercept the direct daylight and avoid disturbing light radiation without obstructing the view outside. In addition sun shading has a positive impact on the productivity of people in the office and on the outline of the costs during summertime.

The ECLIPS is a permanent horizontal sun shading construction, suitable anywhere which does not demand technical maintenance. The combination of the sun shading and a natural ventilation system offers a practical and economical alternative to air-conditioning.

Construction and installation The Eclips-system can be installed horizontally or at an angle to achieve the desired shading. Also a vertical version can be foreseen.

The basic construction consists of a supporting profiles (with pre-fixed blade supports) which are attached to the wall with aluminium brackets. Then the fascia profile is fixed and aligned by means of an extending fittings.

The C-shaped blades are clipped onto the blade supports thanks to a clever clippingsystem.

To create an effect of diffuse light perforated blades can be supplied.

Audio-visual equipment about the installation of the Eclips-system is available on request.

ECLIPS, a fully rust-free and self-supporting sun shading system.

The lightweight construction consists of an aluminium support structure carrying plastic blade supports which can be slided or fitted with a turn and clip movement.

The blade supports are linked up with a positive click mechanism and are made from high-grade POM-material, which avoids creaking noises during possible expansion of the blades.

C-shaped aluminium blades with a height of 83.4mm, are clipped onto the blade supports.

Corners are joint by means of separate and double hinged supports, allowing for the installation of two blades on one and the same support profile.

The support profiles are fixed to the wall either horizontal, at an angle (max. 45? or vertical with aluminium brackets and stainless steel fastenings.

An aluminium fascia profile with a height of 155mm finishes off the construction and ensures a perfect alignment thanks to an extending fitting.
