Description:
Singapore architects, William Lim Associates, have developed a reputation for using conventional materials to produce unconventional buildings.
The new Gallery Evason Hotel in Singapore is no exception. The practice chose Industrial Wall Cladding from Robertson for the external facade to the new hotel.
Robertson took responsibility for the supply and installation of more than 1,400 square metres of IW60A industrial panels for the project. The panels combine concealed fasteners with a wide range of options for field-assembled wall systems.
The IW-60A system specified for the new hotel is a 300mm wide panel with a 25mm deep profile and 100mm wide ribs, producing a strong, box-like pattern.
